As many other reviews state the three boxes are almost impossible to separate.They are nice boxes if only I could separate them.How frustrating.
Update: finally got the boxes apart, but it wasn't easy. It took me about 30 minutes to get them apart. You just have to keep tugging and wiggling until the pull apart. My I'll cat took right to the box and it is serving its purpose as an alternative box as she recovers from her UTI.
